US leading Choreographer Maria Torres is over in the UK for 3 Special Master Workshops in London, Birmingham and Manchester for a promotion tour to promote the New Musical “The Magic Of Salsa Kingdom” which is featured at the Salsa Kingdom Festival. Maria has recently been working on Films with Patrick Dempsey, Amy Adams, Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Lopez, and Merryl Streep to name a few and also as a Choeographer on US Dance Show “So You Think You Can Dance”.

JOHN ARMSTRONG JOINS THE SALSA KINGDOM DJ ROSTER.

Radio 2’s John Armstrong from the Viva Latino Show has joined our Festival DJ line up For his two sets at Southport, John promises “salsa with plenty of hooks and serious swing”, as well as “mambo magic”: old and new, classics and obscurities, from “everywhere where salsa’s ever existed – Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, New York, Venezuela, Africa, Paris, Amsterdam, London – bring it on!”. Other DJ’s include World’s No1 Salsa DJ, Henry Knowles, Mauricio Reyes and Julian The Duke.
